Job Summary

Reise Mitas Tires LLP, a two-wheeler tyre manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled and motivated Utility Associate to support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of utility systems at the manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of utility equipment, maintaining safety standards, and supporting efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain plant utility equipment and systems.
• Ensure smooth operation of air compressors, cooling towers, chillers, pumps, boilers, and other utility equipment, as applicable.
• Monitor utility parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and operating conditions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility systems.
• Identify abnormalities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate with the maintenance team for corrective actions.
• Maintain daily utility operation logs, equipment checklists, and consumption records.
• Monitor and support the efficient utilization of electricity, water, compressed air, and other utilities.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, SOPs, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support breakdown maintenance, energy conservation initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Basic technical knowledge of industrial utility systems and equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Ability to monitor equipment performance and identify operational issues.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and industrial safety practices.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• 1-4 years of experience in utilities, plant maintenance, or a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in tyre manufacturing or other process industries will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
