UX Designer

Komprise is hiring a full-time UX Designer to help craft the future of our unstructured data management platform. As the second UX designer on the team, you will have a significant voice in our design culture. Working together with product managers, you will have a significant and tangible impact on an enterprise SaaS tool. We are looking for an excellent communicator and fast thinker who thrives in rapidly changing environments. We need someone ready to drive and own entire projects from discovery to delivery. Because our product team spans the Bay Area and Bangalore, you will need to be comfortable navigating a global, cross-time-zone environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own the UX of projects from initial concept and discovery through production and final delivery.
• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive, user-friendly workflows and compelling visual designs.
• Create comprehensive journey maps, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate intent.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, founders, and fellow designers to navigate ambiguity and define clear product needs.
• Lead review sessions to collect real-time feedback on wireframes and mockups, rapidly incorporating insights and changing requirements into your designs.
• Work closely with UI developers, delivering clear, comprehensive design specifications and documentation to ensure effective implementation.
• Act as a guardian of product UX quality by regularly reviewing product design and actively contributing to the design system and visual language.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional UX design experience.
• A strong portfolio showcasing experience designing complex workflows or enterprise software interfaces, including data tables, forms, and interactive dashboards.
• A background in UX design for technical web applications.
• High proficiency in Figma with a strong command of user interactions and visual design patterns.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
• Proven experience working effectively in fast-paced and dynamic team environments.
• Ability to confidently articulate reasoning, defend design decisions, and think on your feet during stakeholder reviews.
• Adaptability to pivot based on new information and continuously evolve designs based on feedback.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead conversations, align stakeholders, and define clear problem statements.
• Deep curiosity and a thoughtful approach to understanding problems before proposing solutions.
• Systems thinking with the ability to design with the big picture in mind.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate unclear requirements into concrete product solutions.

Nice To Have:

• Experience working in the data sector, specifically with data visualization and analytics.
• Experience using AI tooling for UX design.
