About this role
Seeking a Dynamic E-commerce UX Designer for an E-commerce Brand based in Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities Website UX and Customer Journey ● Improve the user experience across the homepage, product pages, collection pages, cart, checkout, and campaign landing pages. ● Make product discovery easier, clearer, and more intuitive for customers. ● Improve page structure, product information hierarchy, CTA placement, trust blocks, reviews, size guidance, bundles, and cross-sell sections. ● Think mobile-first across all design work. ● Identify friction points in customer journeys and suggest practical design improvements. Ecommerce Design Execution ● Create wireframes, page layouts, and final designs in Figma. ● Design clean, practical, developer-ready storefront screens. ● Balance customer clarity, brand aesthetics, and commercial needs. ● Support 12–15 small-to-medium UX/design improvements every month across website pages, landing pages, product pages, and storefront modules. ● Ensure designs are detailed, organised, and ready for developer handoff. Shopify Storefront Work ● Work primarily on the Shopify website. ● Understand Shopify page structures, ecommerce sections, product pages, collection pages, navigation, cart, and checkout flows. ● Adapt website design learnings to other storefronts such as Amazon, Myntra, and marketplace brand stores when required. ● Help create repeatable storefront modules and design systems that can be reused across pages. ● Research and Referencing ● Regularly study strong D2C websites, Shopify stores, and ecommerce UX references. ● Bring useful references, examples, and improvement ideas to the Conversion Design Lead. ● Learn from competitor websites, customer behaviour, analytics inputs, heatmaps, CX feedback, and design best practices. ● Apply references practically instead of copying trends blindly. Experimentation and Campaign Support ● Design landing pages for paid ads, product launches, offers, seasonal campaigns, and key marketing pushes. ● Ensure the landing page matches the promise made in the ad or campaign. ● Improve above-the-fold clarity, product explanation, CTA flow, trust, and buying confidence. ● Design UX variations to support A/B testing and conversion experiments across key pages. ● Design personalised website experiences and on-site conversion elements such as pop-ups, slide-ins, banners, recommendation blocks, and nudges when required. ● Work with the marketing and creative teams to convert briefs into strong ecommerce pages and storefront experiences. Design Handoff and QA ● Maintain clean Figma files, components, sections, annotations, and handoff notes. ● Work under the Conversion Design Lead for developer coordination. ● Review implemented pages for visual accuracy, responsiveness, and basic journey issues. ● Flag design gaps, mobile issues, layout breaks, and customer-facing friction before pages go live.
Job Qualifications ● 2 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce UX, UI design, website design, or digital product design. ● Mandatory experience working on Shopify websites. ● Prior experience with a D2C brand or ecommerce-focused agency. ● Strong Figma competency ● Good understanding of ecommerce journeys such as homepage, PLP, PDP, cart, checkout, and landing pages. ● Sound visual design basics: spacing, hierarchy, typography, layout, image usage, and product presentation. ● Ability to design mobile-first. ● Ability to understand customer behaviour and translate it into better page design. ● Ability to learn through references and apply those learnings practically. ● Good communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly. ● Strong execution discipline and comfort with fast-moving work.
