User Interface Designer

Role Description The User Interface Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for BuyBacKart’s web and mobile products. This full-time, on-site role is based in Delhi, India, and involves close collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into high-fidelity designs and interactive components. Day-to-day tasks include creating wireframes and mockups, defining layout and visual hierarchy, maintaining design systems, and ensuring consistency across all user touchpoints. The designer will participate in user-centric design discussions, iterate on feedback, and support front-end implementation by providing detailed specifications and assets. The role also includes continuous refinement of the interface based on user behavior, performance metrics, and evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong user interface design skills, including expertise in User Interface Design and User Experience (UX) for web and mobile products.
• Proficiency in visual design, including layout, typography, and color, with experience creating detailed Mockups and design systems.
• Understanding of Front-End Development principles and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on implementation.
• Experience using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and creating responsive, scalable interfaces.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills to explain design decisions and gather feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing for e-commerce or digital marketplaces is an advantage.
