Role Description As a User Experience Designer at Otto AI, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences for AI-powered products. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, gathering and analyzing feedback, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, and collaborating with product managers and engineers to refine requirements. You will develop and iterate on design solutions, maintain design systems and visual standards, and ensure consistency across platforms. This is a full-time remote role, requiring regular communication with cross-functional teams, participation in design reviews, and documentation of design decisions to support implementation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in user-centered design, including Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles.
- Experience conducting User Research, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and synthesizing insights.
- Proficiency in Visual Design, including layout, typography, color, and creating clean, accessible interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Prototyping tools and workflows for wireframes, interactive mockups, and design systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and other stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Comfort working with complex or technical products, ideally in AI, software, or data-driven applications.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices is highly beneficial.
