About this role
UAC is hiring for a UI UX designer for a design studio in South Bombay
Location: South Bombay
Working model: Onsite
Days: Monday to Friday
Timings: 10:30am - 7:30pm
Budget: 12-14 LPA
What you’ll be doing: You’ll lead the design of websites and digital experiences for our clients, working closely with the brand and strategy team from early on. This isn’t a role where you receive a brief and execute. You’ll be involved in the thinking, the framing, and the translation of brand into screen. Your work will range from brand-led marketing sites and campaign pages to product interfaces, depending on the client. You’ll own Figma files, present directly to clients, manage feedback conversations, and hold the quality of the work accountable end to end. When it’s time to build, you’ll work closely with developers, ensuring the intent of the design survives implementation. One of your first significant projects will be a refresh of the company website. Beyond that, you’ll own the site on an ongoing basis, keeping case studies current and updating sections as the studio evolves. This is as much a responsibility as it is an opportunity to put your thinking into something that represents us.
What we’re looking for
- You understand how a brand works. You can take a visual identity, a tone of voice, a set of values, and translate it into a digital experience that feels like it belongs.
- You think about content and communication. Hierarchy is about meaning, and a good design makes information feel immersive and engaging.
- You’re research-oriented. Before you open Figma, you understand the user, the category, the competitive context - the things that will add depth to your design process and decisions
- You present with conviction. You can walk a client through decisions, hold your ground when needed, and read the room when it’s time to adapt.
- You work well with developers. You hand off thoughtfully and stay in the conversation through to launch.
- You’re self-directed. You know what good design looks like without needing to be managed toward it.
- You’re fluent in Figma. Auto-layout, components, variables, prototyping, developer handoff, all of it.
Background 6-7 years of experience in UI/UX, ideally with some exposure to branding or at a studio rather than purely in-house. A portfolio that shows thinking, not just polish. We care about how you got to what you made.
What it’s like here Studio culture, not agency culture. Fast-paced but considered. The kind of place where people care about the work. And are creating good work together.
