Role: US Taxation - Team Lead / Manager
Location: Hyderabad/ Ahmadabad

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic US Taxation Manager with 5+ years of experience in US individual and business taxation, including Form 1040 and international tax filings, along with 2+ years of supervisory/team management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of US tax professionals.
• Oversee preparation and review of US individual and business tax returns, particularly Form 1040.
• Handle complex tax matters, international tax filings, and escalated client issues.
• Ensure compliance with US federal and state tax laws, IRS regulations, and deadlines.
• Allocate workloads and monitor team performance and deliverables.
• Support tax planning and strategy initiatives.
• Stay updated on tax-law changes and ensure team compliance.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive US Tax experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of US individual and business taxation, IRS regulations, and state taxation.
• Experience with international tax components.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in US tax software and advanced MS Excel.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• EA preferred; CPA or other tax certifications are an added advantage.
