Our Team

Global Payroll & Tax is a core part of Koch HRS Payroll within HR Solutions India. We provide centralized, expert payroll tax services for Koch and affiliated entities (e.g., Molex, GeorgiaPacific, Guardian, Infor), collaborating daily with payroll providers, HR, and business partners to ensure seamless tax compliance.

What You Will Do

• Own and drive accurate, timely federal, state and local payroll tax compliance and filings (including Forms 941, 940, state unemployment/withholding/ disability returns), ensuring deadlines and regulatory expectations are met.
• Proactively monitor tax law changes, research technical issues, and translate guidance into process improvements that reduce risk and increase efficiency.
• Maintain and secure company tax registrations, EFTPS credentials, and state withholding accounts to ensure uninterrupted tax operations.
• Lead yearend tax activities (W-2, 1099), validating source data and coordinating distribution to deliver a reliable employee experience.
• Partner cross-functionallywith ADP, HR, supervisors and employees—to resolve tax notices, validate employee work/location changes, and ensure accurate multi-state withholding.
• Ensure SUI tax rates and state-specific settings are validated and maintained in payroll systems (SAP, ADP), reducing leakage and reconciliation exceptions.
• Serve as a responsive, trusted advisor to employees and HR teams on payroll tax inquiries, using clear communication to explain complex tax outcomes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications )

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of handson payroll tax experience supporting a multinational or large U.S. employer.
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment taxes (federal/state/local withholding, FIT, SIT, FUTA, SUTA), deposit and filing processes.
• Experience using payroll and HR systems such as ADP and SAP (exposure to Workday, Ceridian, Dayforce is a plus).
• Able to work assigned hours (standard shifts: 4 PM–1 AM IST or 6 PM–3 AM IST) and work from the Bengaluru office 3 days in  a week.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple EINs and multistate tax scenarios.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with data-query or reconciliation tools.
• Proven ability to manage payroll tax notices and entity registrations with state tax agencies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally with non-tax stakeholders and external payroll providers (e.g., ADP).
