Position: US Sales Tax Associate

Requirements:

• CA/CMA Semi-Qualified / MBA / B. Com (Finance) with 1+ years of experience in US Sales taxation

• Strong analytical and research skills

• Experience or working knowledge of US sales tax compliance, including nexus studies and state registrations

Job Description:

As a US Sales Tax Associate at FinStackk, you will assist in managing US sales tax compliance for clients, including nexus studies, state-wise registrations, and filing of returns. You will also contribute to Local Taxes such as analysis, registration, and filing requirements. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build strong US indirect tax experience in a growing, tech-forward environment. Additionally, you'll be using the tech product we're building in-house to streamline the process and provide feedback for product iterations and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Sales Tax Nexus studies across US states and determine registration and filing obligations

• Manage sales tax registrations and coordinate with clients for necessary documentation

• Oversee monthly/quarterly sales tax filings and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations

• Stay current on changes in US state tax laws, including rules, regulations, and tax rates

Work Details:

• Shift: 1 PM - 10 PM IST (Monday - Friday)

• Location: Gachibowli, Hyderabad

• Pay: As per market standards
