About this role
Role Summary
As a Recruiter in our India Global Capability Centre (GCC), you will manage end-to-end recruitment for one or more US partner facilities. Working closely with onsite site leaders and hiring managers, you will develop and execute recruitment plans, source and screen candidates through digital channels, conduct virtual interviews, and guide candidates smoothly through each stage of the hiring process.
Although you will not be onsite, you will develop a strong understanding of the operation to ensure facilities remain fully staffed. You will serve as a key link between candidates, hiring managers, and onsite teams.
Essential Job Functions
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with US hiring managers and site leaders via Microsoft Teams, phone, and email to understand staffing needs, shift patterns, and job requirements.
- Recruitment Planning: Develop and execute recruitment plans for assigned facilities, including weekly hiring targets and pipeline forecasts.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Source and screen candidates through job boards, social media, ATS databases, referral programs, and text or email campaigns.
- Candidate Interviews: Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates' suitability, availability, and qualifications.
- Hiring and Onboarding Coordination: Manage the hiring process from offer through onboarding, including background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment documentation. Coordinate with onsite teams for in-person requirements such as I-9 verification and orientation.
- Talent Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to meet recurring and peak-season hiring demands.
- Recruitment Operations and Compliance: Manage paperless recruiting operations and ensure ATS/HRIS data remains accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline. An MBA or specialization in Human Resources is an added advantage.
- Recruitment Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in US high-volume or hourly hiring across light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
- US Hiring Practices: Familiarity with US recruitment practices, including background checks, drug screening, I-9/E-Verify processes, and basic Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines.
- Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Communication Skills: Clear and confident spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with US candidates and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Good problem-solving and analytical abilities, including the capacity to interpret data and work with dashboards.
- Work Management: Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage responsibilities across different time zones.
