US Payroll

Key Responsibilities -

• Lead the timely and accurate processing of payroll for multiple pay groups, including high-volume weekly hourly workers and monthly salaried colleagues.
• Validate and audit hourly employee timesheets prior to payroll processing.
• Partner with managers/ Supervisor and employees to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and ensure timely approvals.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before payroll processing
• Process payroll adjustments, earnings, deductions, and other payroll transactions
• Perform payroll audits to identify discrepancies and ensure payroll accuracy
• Research and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service.
• Respond to payroll inquiries submitted through tickets, other support channels on a timely basis.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Own delivery timelines, SLAs, escalations, and client communication.

• Timekeeping issues are resolved proactively with managers and employees.
• Payroll discrepancies are identified and corrected before payroll completion.
• Employees receive exceptional support through timely and professional issue resolution.
• Payrolls are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Compliance with payroll laws, company policies, and internal controls is consistently maintained
• Continuous improvements are identified and implemented to enhance.
• Self-motivated and works autonomously remotely with limited supervision.

Experience:

• Hands-on experience in payroll, reports & Time Tracking.
• Experience working in a global or large multinational organization.
• Experience processing multi-state payrolls.
• Experience supporting SOX controls and payroll audits.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills

Education:
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.

Soft Skills & Requirement:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Strong time-management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Require good knowledge in Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot table) & MS office.
