We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced US Accounting Associate to join our team in Indore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US accounting/bookkeeping and be comfortable working with US clients and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for US clients
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Prepare financial statements and accounting reports
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense management
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Review transactions and identify discrepancies or unusual items
  • Coordinate with US clients and internal teams for accounting-related queries
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of US accounting and bookkeeping practices
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with US clients and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification

Experience in US Accounting / US Bookkeeping will be preferred.

Working Hours

The role may require working in US time zones / night shifts, depending on client requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates from accounting/consultancy firms and candidates residing in or around Indore.
