About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Conduct thorough research on applicants' financial history, credit reports, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of loans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, guidelines, and changes in US mortgage underwriting policies.
Job Requirements :
- 3-15 years of experience in US residential mortgage underwriting or related field.
- Strong understanding of US mortgage products, including conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans, Jumbo loans, etc.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data using software such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or similar tools.
