Role & responsibilities

• Client Coordination: Maintain direct, professional communication with US clients to gather financial data, resolve queries, and provide status updates.
• Accounting: Handle core accounting tasks, review financial statements, ledgers, and expense reports to ensure pinpoint accuracy.
• Tax Credit Processing: Assist in analyzing, tracking, and preparing US film and entertainment tax incentive claims in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research on evolving US tax incentive laws, guidelines, and production expenditure eligibility.
• Data Management: Organize and maintain meticulous financial documentation and audit trails for production expenses.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of core accounting experience.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to handle international clients directly.
• Core Aptitude: Highly enthusiastic, quick learner, and a proactive self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions to solve problems.
• Research Capabilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex guidelines and document findings methodically.
• Software: Proficient in MS Excel and cloud accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools).
