US CPA- Remote, Part - Time QuickBooks and Bookkeeping Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a licensed US CPA based in India to provide ongoing remote accounting and QuickBooks support for a US-based company. This is a recurring part-time engagement, not a one-off project we're looking for a long-term working relationship built on accuracy, confidentiality, and reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Remotely access and maintain QuickBooks Online accounting records

- Enter and categorize transactions accurately and consistently

- Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts

- Review accounts for discrepancies, omissions, and duplicate entries

- Maintain organized books on a regular schedule

- Prepare basic monthly financial reports

- Identify unusual transactions or accounting issues

- Keep records current, complete, and properly documented

- Communicate clearly regarding questions, corrections, and recommendations

- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all financial information

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Licensed US CPA (active license required)

- Formal education in accounting, finance, or a related field

- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online

- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general US accounting principles (GAAP)

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

- Proficiency with secure remote work and online collaboration tools

- At least 3–4 professional references

- Demonstrated track record of reliable, precise, error-free work

- Comfortable working hours that overlap with US Eastern Time

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Rate: 2,380–4,765/hour depending on qualifications, or approx. 47,650–95,300/month for ~20 hours

Approx. Annual: 5.7–11.4 Lakhs PA (part-time, 20 hrs/month)

Schedule: Flexible, with regularly scheduled work and agreed deadlines
