US Bookkeeper ( QuickBooks & AI Tools )

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy US Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of US bookkeeping practices, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve accounting workflows, data analysis, and reporting efficiency.

The ideal candidate should understand US accounting fundamentals, maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and use AI-powered tools to streamline routine bookkeeping tasks while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company procedures.

Experience: 1- 3 years preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense categorization, and bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bookkeeping activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing support.
• Assist with financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Apply knowledge of US bookkeeping practices, accounting principles, and standard financial reporting procedures.
• Use ChatGPT and Claude to support data analysis, organize financial information, summarize reports, and improve bookkeeping workflows.
• Leverage AI tools and spreadsheet applications to identify discrepancies, analyze transaction data, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Work with Excel or Google Sheets for financial data cleaning, reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy and validate all financial calculations before using them in accounting records.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow data privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Coordinate with US-based clients or internal teams during US business hours.
• Support audits, financial reviews, and other accounting-related tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• QuickBooks certification is preferred; candidates should have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Good understanding of US bookkeeping practices and accounting fundamentals.

Work Schedule:

Candidates must be comfortable working in a US shift to align with US business hours. Specific working hours and time-zone requirements will be communicated during the interview process.
