US Accounting Team Lead

We are seeking a qualified and experienced US Accounting Team Lead to oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensure the quality and accuracy of financial reporting, maintain effective communication with US-based clients, resolve client queries, optimize team performance, and manage resources effectively to meet client expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• - Lead, mentor, and inspire the accounting team.
  - Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  - Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  - Handle client queries and maintain effective client communication.
  - Oversee financial statements, reports, and deliverables.
  - Ensure accounting quality and accuracy.
  - Identify and implement process improvements.
  - Monitor US accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
  - Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency.
  - Allocate resources according to workload and deadlines.
  - Collaborate with senior management on resource planning
  Education & Training

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of relevant, hands-on US/UK accounting experience
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      - End-to-end accounting experience in AP, AR, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and journal entries.
      - Proven team-handling experience in a US accounting environment.
      - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
      - Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Yardi, or MRI Property Management software.
      - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
      - Strong work ethic and professional standards.
      - Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
      - Ability to identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
