Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Consultant Urologist to diagnose and manage patients with diseases and disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The candidate should have strong clinical and surgical expertise and be capable of handling routine as well as emergency urological cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urological conditions.
• Perform urological procedures and surgeries as per clinical requirements.
• Conduct consultations, investigations, and follow-up examinations.
• Manage conditions related to the kidney, bladder, ureter, urethra, prostate, and male reproductive system.
• Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic procedures and investigations.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Handle urological emergencies and provide timely treatment.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and recovery.
• Coordinate with radiology, pathology, aesthesia, nephrology, and other departments when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MS/DNB/M.Ch/DNB in Urology from a recognized institution, as applicable.
• Valid medical registration.
• Relevant experience in Urology preferred.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
