Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Release Manager with 8+ years of experience in SAP delivery, release management, and change management. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing SAP releases across multiple landscapes, ensuring seamless deployment of SAP changes, enhancements, fixes, and project deliverables while minimizing business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage SAP release cycles across Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Govern end-to-end release management processes for SAP projects, enhancements, support packs, and production fixes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, BASIS, infrastructure, and testing teams to ensure successful releases.
• Create and maintain release calendars, deployment schedules, and cutover plans.
• Lead release readiness reviews, go-live planning, and post-deployment support activities.
• Manage transport requests and ensure compliance with SAP change management procedures.
• Monitor dependencies, risks, and issues associated with releases and drive mitigation plans.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL, governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare release status reports, dashboards, and executive-level communications.
• Support SAP transformation programs, upgrades, migrations, and rollout projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Release Management, SAP Project Management, SAP Change Management, or SAP Delivery Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and transport management processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), CTS+, and transport management tools.
• Experience in coordinating large-scale SAP releases involving multiple workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and deployment governance.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications and/or ITIL certification preferred.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and Release Management frameworks.
• Exposure to SAP cloud solutions such as SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or SAC is an advantage.
