Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support procurement activities for industrial automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing components, coordinating with suppliers, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure industrial automation components such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo motors, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, cables, connectors, and electrical panel accessories.
• Identify and communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations and product details.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
• Compare vendor quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Follow up on pending orders, material shortages, and delayed deliveries.
• Coordinate with the design, production, project, stores, and accounts teams for procurement requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotation files, and order tracking sheets.
• Assist in vendor development and evaluation to identify reliable suppliers.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure procurement within the approved budget.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of industrial automation and electrical/electronic components.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Basic understanding of purchase processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
• Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software is an added advantage.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn about new products, suppliers, and procurement procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

• 02 years of experience in purchase, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn can apply.
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical panels, machine manufacturing, or engineering industries will be an advantage.
