Urgent Requirement of Lab Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate bills for laboratory tests, health packages, and diagnostic services.
• Collect payments through cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, cheques, and online modes.
• Maintain daily cash collection records and ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Reconcile daily collections and submit reports to the accounts department.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
• Verify test requisition forms and patient details before billing.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding test charges, packages, discounts, and payment methods.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Coordinate with the laboratory, front office, and accounts teams for smooth operations.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
• Report billing discrepancies or payment issues to the concerned authority.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounts, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles will be preferred.

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive, Front Office Executive, or similar role.
• Experience in a diagnostic centre, pathology laboratory, hospital, or healthcare industry preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of billing software, laboratory information systems (LIS), or hospital management software.
• Understanding of cash handling and financial reconciliation processes.
