Ab-Initio Administrator

Location: Pune, Chennai, Kolkata

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Ab Initio components (Co>Operating System, GDE, Conduct>It, Control Center).
• Administer Ab Initio environments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Ab Initio batch and real-time jobs.
• Manage user access, roles, and security policies.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams.
• Perform environment health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Support job scheduling, monitoring, and restart processes.
• Handle production issues, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Apply patches and upgrades following change management processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 45 years of hands-on experience as an Ab Initio Administrator.
• Strong experience with Ab Initio Co>Op, GDE, Conduct>It, Control Center.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux administration.
• Experience with job monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and system performance.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management). & responsibilities
