Role : QA/QC (Bags and Accessories)

JD:

• Quality inspection of tote bags, handbags, clutches, purses, wallets, belts and fashion accessories.
• Conduct inline, pre-dispatch and final inspections at vendor locations.
• Check material, stitching, construction, dimensions, colour, finishing and workmanship.
• Inspect zippers, buckles, handles, straps, lining, hardware and trims.
• Identify major, minor and critical defects as per AQL standards.
• Ensure compliance with approved samples, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for root-cause analysis, corrective actions and defect rectification.
• Review laboratory test reports and applicable testing parameters, including colour fastness, abrasion, tensile/tear strength, seam strength, adhesion, flexing and hydrolysis, wherever applicable.
• Prepare inspection reports, defect analysis and vendor quality reports.
• Monitor vendor quality performance and recurring defects.
• Coordinate with Buying, Merchandising, Sourcing and Warehouse teams on quality issues.
• Conduct vendor quality audits and drive quality improvement.
