Urgent opening For Accounts Executive - Andheri Chakala

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate books of accounts, handle statutory compliances, and support the finance team in monthly closing and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, vendor/customer accounting, and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries including expenses, receipts, payments, journal entries, debit notes and credit notes.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
• Verify vendor invoices, supporting documents, approvals and applicable taxes before accounting/payment.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare ageing reports.
• Handle GST-related accounting and compliance.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments and reconciliation and assist in preparation of TDS returns.
• Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers and internal departments for accounting and payment-related matters.
• Assist in preparation of documentation and schedules required for statutory audit, tax audit and internal audit.
• Support the Accounts & Finance team with MIS reports and other accounting activities as required.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting ERP software (SAP).
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic Indian accounting & taxation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS and basic data analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and ledger reconciliation.
• Ability to independently handle routine accounting transactions and reconciliations.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet monthly and statutory deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounts or Finance.
• 35 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in independently handling day-to-day accounts, GST/TDS workings and reconciliations is preferred.

We are looking for a candidate who is hands-on, responsible and comfortable working independently. The person should be capable of taking ownership of routine accounting activities, identifying reconciliation differences, maintaining proper documentation and escalating issues in a timely manner.
