Urgent opening as an Assistant Manager Pricing -Industrial

Role & responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing the pricing strategy of the division effectively, to empower sales support and improve the bottom line of the company in order to balance revenue, profitability, competitiveness, and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

Price Management

1. Lead the pricing regulation/pricelist month on month of the Industrial division and prepare the pricing strategy to improve gross margin & better P&L

2. Implementation of pricing strategy with regional heads and minimize the exceptions

3. On time execution on monthly basis

Competitive Price Management

4. Ability to collect competition pricing of each product and generic product/raw materials in a region wise manner.

5. Create & maintain database of our Secondary Customer Prices and competition Pricing

Category Management

6. Monitor the Scheme cost, Promotional and marketing cost vis--vis budget vs actual

7. Co-ordinate with product & marketing teams on product category placement & pricing to help build successful schemes & price strategy.

Cross Functional Collaboration

8. Coordination with Finance & Accounts, SCM, Technical, R&D for Product Launch, Introductory Pricing, Sample Pricing & competition pricing and material availability with SCM of Introductory Product.

Financial Hygiene

9. Regulate and report on exceptional Discounts, Credit notes , policy deviations

10. Regulate and Report the Product Mix and Budget alignment week wise

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

Any Graduation

Experience

4+ years of experience

Relevant experience in purchase, pricing and finance
