Job Role: SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist, Marketing Operations

Location: Bengaluru

Experience: 2-7 years

Role Purpose

Drive organic and AI-search visibility SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine

Optimization (GEO) to fuel inbound lead generation, while owning the martech/systems layer that

supports search performance and attribution reporting for the marketing operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SEO strategy: technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword and topic research,

content optimization

• Build and execute AEO/GEO strategy improve brand visibility and citations across AI answer

engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Copilot)

• Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site architecture for both traditional

search and AI-crawler readability

• Track and report organic performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools

(Ahrefs/Semrush)

• Manage the systems and tech stack tied to SEO and lead capture CMS, tag management, landing

page and form tools

• Independently develop and execute content strategy for organic and AI-search visibility topic

planning, content briefs, and optimization

• Align content and AI-search strategy with campaign calendars, coordinating with the paid media team

where needed

• Report on organic funnel performance and AI-search citation trends to leadership
• Stay current on evolving AI search engine algorithms and update strategy accordingly

Must-Have Skills

• Strong technical SEO fundamentals crawling, indexing, schema markup, Core Web Vitals
• Working knowledge of AEO/GEO practices and citation tracking across LLM platforms
• Hands-on comfort with martech systems CMS, GA4, tag managers, CRM-adjacent tools
• Strong analytical mindset — able to read performance data and translate it into action
• Ability to independently plan and write/oversee SEO- and AI-search-optimized content
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in SEO/digital marketing roles
• Hands-on experience with marketing/revenue tech stack optimization
• Proven experience with lead attribution and funnel tracking (Marketing Lead Opportunity

Revenue)

Good to Have

• Experience in B2B, HR-tech, or services industry

• Familiarity with Zoho CRM or similar CRM/marketing systems
• Prior exposure to AI search / LLM citation analytics tools
