About the Role

Satguru Tours & Travels is looking for a Hotel Contracting / Hotel Supply professional responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with hotels and accommodation partners. The role will focus on negotiating competitive rates, contracting hotels, expanding the accommodation portfolio, and ensuring commercially viable hotel options for our travel business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard hotels, resorts, villas, and other accommodation partners across key destinations.
• Manage the complete hotel contracting and supply process, including rate negotiations, contracts, allocations, promotions, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate competitive hotel rates, discounts, commissions, and value-added benefits to achieve commercially viable deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel chains, independent hotels, resorts, and other accommodation suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify new properties and ensure competitive hotel inventory across destinations.
• Review and compare hotel rates, inclusions, availability, cancellation policies, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with hotels and internal teams to resolve rate discrepancies, availability issues, contract amendments, and other operational concerns.
• Maintain an updated database of contracted hotels, negotiated rates, validity, promotions, and contract terms.
• Monitor competitor rates and market trends to ensure Satguru remains competitive.
• Support the expansion of hotel supply based on business requirements and destination demand.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Contracting, Operations, and other internal teams for hotel-related requirements.
• Ensure timely renewal and revision of hotel contracts and commercial agreements.
• Prepare regular MIS/reports related to hotel contracting, rates, inventory, and supplier performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 25 years of relevant experience in Hotel Contracting, Hotel Supply, Hotel Procurement, or Hotel Business Development.
• Candidates from B2B Travel Agencies, DMCs, OTAs, Travel Management Companies, or Hotel Contracting/Supply teams will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel contracting, rate negotiation, hotel sourcing, and supplier management.
• Good knowledge of hotel chains, standalone properties, resorts, villas, and accommodation products.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compare rates and commercial terms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and maintaining MIS/trackers.
• Ability to work with multiple destinations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
