Role & responsibilities

• Handle customer queries related to bank accounts, debit cards, credit cards, and online banking.
• Assist customers with transaction-related issues, failed payments, refunds, and payment status inquiries.
• Process banking requests accurately according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Verify customer information and follow KYC and customer authentication procedures.
• Investigate transaction discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues to the concerned department.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
• Handle customer complaints professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Follow banking regulations, data privacy requirements, and information security policies.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, quality, and turnaround-time (TAT) targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues within the specified timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a banking BPO, financial services, or customer support process.
• Basic knowledge of banking operations, payment processing, and financial transactions.
• Good English communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience using CRM or banking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work rotational or night shifts, depending on the process.
