• Study and understanding the component drawing, design, dimensions and parameter.
• Identify and selecting the appropriate tooling.
• Load the program and customizing it on the CNC machine as per requirements.
• Ensure proper setting of the components as per the already approved program.
• Ensure minimum rejection of the component.
• Handle the routine troubleshooting with machine or components in relation to change of dimension/parameters/settings/programming.
• Exercise special care and be attentive while setting the program on machine to ensure the product quality and minimize rejection rates.
• Minimize the setting time in developing with the guidance of shift eng. / cell supervisor.
• Ensure proper setting of program as per the dimension in case of special jobs in microns.
• Ensure use of appropriate and suitable gauges and relevant measuring instruments.
• Ensure proper fitting & alignment of tools 3 Technician VMC/CNC Operator 10 2 to 5 Years M ITI/DME * Operate VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
* Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
* Set up jobs, tools, fixtures, and workpieces on VMC machines.
* Load and execute CNC programs and make basic program corrections when required.
* Perform tool offset and work offset adjustments.
* Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection instruments.
* Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
* Monitor machining operations and identify tool wear or machine abnormalities.

• Perform tool setting, work offsets and tool offset corrections.
• Load and execute CNC programs and make approved offset adjustments.
• Monitor machining operations, tool wear, vibration and machine performance. 6 Technician CMO Operator 2 3 To 6 Years M ITI/DME • Operate CNC/CMO machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
• Set up machines, fixtures, cutting tools and components as per drawings and process sheets.
• Load and unload components safely and correctly.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and basic GD&T.
• Set work offsets and tool offsets and make minor corrections as required.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure smooth machine performance.
• Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments. 7 Technician VTC Operator 2 3 To 6 Years M ITI/DME •Operate CNC Vertical Turning Centre (VTC) machines as per production requirements.
