Urgent hiring Biomedical Engineers

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineers to oversee medical equipment maintenance, safety, reliability and lifecycle management across our multispecialty hospital. The role will ensure equipment availability across ICU, OT, emergency, wards, laboratory, radiology and other clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete inventory of medical and biomedical equipment.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ensure high uptime and timely resolution of equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, calibration and performance verification.
• Manage OEMs, service vendors, AMC/CMC contracts, spare parts and warranties.
• Support NABH audits, equipment safety documentation and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, replacement plans and equipment procurement specifications.
• Coordinate with clinical departments, nursing, OT, ICU, radiology, procurement, finance and hospital administration.
• Supervise biomedical engineers, technicians and outsourced service providers.
• Submit equipment performance, downtime, maintenance cost and compliance reports to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant biomedical engineering qualification and hospital equipment management experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment safety.
• Experience managing hospital medical equipment, vendors and maintenance contracts.
• Good leadership, documentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to critical equipment failures and coordinate across departments.
