Overview:

The Asst./Deputy Manager (Legal) will be responsible for managing and overseeing litigation matters related to health insurance claims across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums on a PAN India basis. The role involves close coordination with external advocates, ensuring timely legal compliance, effective case management, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and regularly update Legal MIS, including litigation, agreements, notices and other legal matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence of properties, including review of title and related documents.
• Draft, review and coordinate execution of Leave & License and Lease Agreements.
• Handle and coordinate Consumer Litigation, including documentation, advocate coordination and case tracking.
• Draft and issue Demand Notices for recovery of claim amounts and other dues.
• Draft and review routine legal notices, agreements, undertakings, replies and correspondence.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external advocates on assigned legal matters.
• Maintain proper records of agreements, litigation, property documents and other legal matters.
• Ensure timely follow-up, compliance and closure of assigned legal matters.

Qualification & Experience:

• LL.B. / LL.M.
• 58 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, litigation, contracts and property matters.
• Good drafting, documentation, coordination and MS Office skills.
