Role Description The Unreal Engine Developer Intern (Blueprint/C++) role is a remote internship focused on supporting the development of games and simulations using Unreal Engine. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing gameplay features with Blueprints and C++, creating and testing interactive systems, and assisting in optimizing performance across target platforms. The intern will collaborate with developers, designers, and artists to integrate assets, debug issues, and refine user experiences in AR/VR/XR environments and traditional game projects. Additional tasks may include writing clean, maintainable code, documenting technical workflows, and learning best practices in version control, profiling, and AI-driven gameplay systems under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Unreal Engine development, including Blueprint scripting and basic C++ programming.
• Candidates should possess skills in game mechanics implementation, debugging, and performance optimization for real-time applications.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with AR/VR/XR concepts, 3D engines, and interactive simulation workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in object-oriented programming, math for games (vectors, transforms), and problem-solving.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, collaboration, and time-management skills in a remote team environment.
• Knowledge of AI, procedural content generation, or robotics/physics simulations is beneficial.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), and basic understanding of PC, console, or mobile game pipelines is an advantage.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
