Unit Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop new insurance advisors/agents as per business requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong and productive advisor/agent network.
• Train and coach advisors on products, sales processes, customer handling, and business development.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of insurance products.
• Ensure effective lead generation and conversion through the advisor network.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and defined sales processes.
• Coordinate with branch and support teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Conduct market visits and support advisors in acquiring new customers and expanding their business.
• Prepare regular business and performance reports for management.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-4 years of experience in sales, insurance, agency, BFSI, or related field.
• Experience in managing a team or advisor/agent network will be preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Good leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Target-oriented with strong sales and relationship-management skills.
• Willingness to travel locally for recruitment, advisor meetings, and business development.
