Unit Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

• Support business planning and decision-making tasks by providing appropriate financial advice

and undertaking related accounts administration and function delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monthly closing of books of Accounts with Ledger/trial scrutiny.

• Ensure, review and control Unit accounting.

• Prepare unit MIS & deliver accurate monthly Financial MIS with variance analysis & counter

measure

• Prepare annual budget

• Provide details required for audits as per requirement

• PO control & freezing

• Assist Unit Head for various accounting support activities as per requirement

• Ensure all compliances at unit level incl GST & other compliances

• Periodically review compliance tool & update status

• Internal Audit, support in cost audit

• Control over inventory & permissible purchases

• Assets verification as per process and timelines

• Inventory as per process and timelines

• Cash as per process and timelines

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of Taxation- VAT, Service Tax, TDS, Accounting Standards and Statutory Compliances

• Knowledge of SAP

• Developing Budgets, Tracking Budget, Expenses Accounting

• Managing Processes, Reporting Research Results, Management Proficiency, Coordination,

Attention to Detail

• Team Development and Administration

• Ensuring 100% compliance and closure of all pending notices and cases
