Work Timings: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Work Model: Full-time
Working Days: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays off

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our UK Taxation team. The ideal candidate should have experience in UK accounting and finalization, with knowledge of VAT returns, management accounts, year-end adjustments, and UK tax compliance. The candidate should be capable of managing client accounts independently, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and Accounting: Maintain clients books of accounts, including processing sales and purchase invoices, recording administrative expenses, and performing bank reconciliations.
• Management Accounts: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly management accounts based on client requirements.
• VAT Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
• General Ledger and Finalization: Analyze general ledger accounts, pass reclassification entries, and post year-end adjustments to finalize company accounts.
• Statutory Reporting: Prepare required financial reports and file accounts with HMRC and Companies House.
• Payroll and Timesheets: Prepare timesheets and process payroll for clients as required.
• Self-Assessment Tax Returns: Prepare and file Self-Assessment Tax Returns with HMRC in accordance with client requirements.
• Client Coordination: Communicate with clients, manage daily workflows, resolve queries, and ensure timely and error-free delivery of assignments.
• Independent Working: Manage assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualifications: ACCA Affiliate with Advanced Taxation paper cleared; ACCA students who have cleared the Advanced Taxation paper
• CA Inter candidates who are not pursuing further studies (freshers).
• Communication Skills: Good written and spoken English communication skills will be an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of UK accounting practices, VAT compliance, year-end finalization, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Core Competencies: Attention to detail, analytical ability, time management, client coordination, and the ability to work independently.
