UI/ UX Trainer - Part Time

Role Description As a UI/UX Trainer at Avodha, you will deliver structured, job-oriented training sessions on user interface and user experience design to learners on-site at the Palghat location. You will create and update curriculum materials, including presentations, exercises, and project briefs, to ensure content is current and aligned with industry standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive classes, demonstrating design workflows and tools, guiding learners through practical assignments, and reviewing their work with constructive feedback. You will support students in building portfolios, clarify core UI/UX concepts, and mentor them on best practices for mockups, visual design, prototyping, and user-centered design. This is a part-time, on-site role in Palghat that may involve collaboration with other trainers and participation in internal training-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mockups and Visual Design, with the ability to teach layout, typography, color, and design systems in a clear, structured way.
• Proficiency in Prototyping and User Experience Design (UED), including user flows, wireframes, interaction design, and usability principles.
• Foundational understanding of Front-End Development concepts (such as HTML, CSS, and basic component behavior) to explain how designs translate into interfaces.
• Previous experience as a UI/UX Designer or Trainer, with a portfolio demonstrating practical projects and user-centered design outcomes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse learner groups in a clear, inclusive, and engaging manner.
• Ability to design hands-on assignments, assess learner performance, and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
• Familiarity with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar) and comfort guiding learners in tool usage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
