UI/UX Product Designer Intern (Unpaid)

Role Overview We are looking for

UI/UX Designer Interns with an interest or prior exposure to SaaS, web applications, dashboards, or digital products. You will work with the product and design team on real product interfaces and contribute to the UX and visual direction of SaaS-based platforms. This role is suitable for candidates who want to move beyond designing isolated screens and learn how complete digital products are designed, structured, tested, and implemented.

Key Responsibilities Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces Work on SaaS platforms, dashboards, admin panels, and web applications Translate product requirements and business objectives into usable interfaces Conduct basic user research and usability analysis when required Work with information architecture, navigation, and complex workflows Create and maintain reusable components and design systems Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers Participate in design reviews and iterate based on structured feedback Prepare developer-ready designs and maintain clear design documentation Identify usability issues and propose practical improvements Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, color, interaction patterns, and visual hierarchy

What We Are Looking For

• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX or product design work
• Experience or strong interest in SaaS, dashboards, web applications, or digital products
• Strong understanding of UX fundamentals
• Strong visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and layout skills
• Good understanding of user flows and information architecture
• Proficiency in Figma
• Familiarity with components, variants, Auto Layout, and design systems
• Ability to explain design decisions, not just visual choices
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical team members
• Willingness to learn and take ownership

• SaaS product design
• B2B or B2C web applications
• Admin dashboards
• ERP, CRM, HR, finance, education, healthcare, or productivity platforms
• Design system development
• UX research and usability testing
• Developer handoff experience
• Experience working with real products or product teams
