Description: We are looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX & Graphic Design Intern to join our team at R&I Park, IIT Delhi. The role will primarily involve designing intuitive experiences for our mobile application, along with contributing to our website, dashboard, marketing creatives, and other digital assets.
About The Role
- Design intuitive and visually engaging mobile application interfaces.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Design and enhance websites and dashboards.
- Create graphics, icons, illustrations, banners, and other digital creatives.
- Develop and maintain consistent visual styles across our products.
- Translate product requirements and ideas into clean, user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate closely with developers and the team for design implementation.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability requirements.
- Use AI tools effectively for research, ideation, content creation, design exploration, productivity, and other relevant tasks to improve the overall workflow.
- Figma – UI/UX design, prototyping, components & design systems.
- Adobe Illustrator – vector graphics, icons, illustrations & branding.
- Adobe Photoshop – image editing and graphic design.
- Adobe XD or similar UI/UX tools.
- AI tools – good understanding of available AI tools and the ability to utilize them effectively for research, ideation, content, design exploration, and productivity.
- Knowledge of other design, prototyping, illustration, or motion-design tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layouts, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Freshers, final-year students, and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Background or degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields.
- A portfolio showcasing UI/UX and/or graphic design work is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX and graphic design principles.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to create clean, modern, user-focused designs.
- Good knowledge of AI tools and ability to use them efficiently as part of day-to-day workflow.
- Willingness to explore, learn new design tools, and take ownership of design tasks.
- Good communication and collaborative mindset.
- Hands-on experience designing real-world mobile apps, dashboards, and digital platforms.
- Mentorship from experienced designers and engineers.
- State-of-the-art workspace at R&I Park, IIT Delhi.
