JOB TITLE: UX/UI Designer

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Junior UX/UI Designer at IMS, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our digital products and platforms. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, and content creators to design intuitive and engaging interfaces that enhance the learning experience for our students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

User Research & Analysis: • Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and gather insights to inform design decisions. Create user personas, journey maps, and use cases.

Wireframing & Prototyping:• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that illustrate design. concepts and user flows. Use tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.

UI Design:• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on consistency, usability, and accessibility. Ensure design alignment with brand guidelines.

Usability Testing: • Conduct usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to improve the user experience.

Collaboration:• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to ensure design feasibility and consistency.

Design Systems: • Maintain and update the companys design system, ensuring that all designs are scalable and reusable.

Continuous Improvement:• Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously seek to improve design processes and outcomes.

REQUIRED SKILLSET:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and others.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS; experience working with developers is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.

• Problem-Solving: Aptitude to identify challenges students face and devise practical solutions to assist them.

• Ethical Conduct: Commitment to upholding ethical standards in educational counseling and student support.

• Team Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team objectives.

• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with educational technology and tools used for counseling and student

management.

PREFERED QUALIFICATION:

• 1+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the education or e-learning industry.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• Degree / Diploma in relevant domain. / Graduation.
