UI/UX Designer

Role Description The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and accessible user interfaces for CodeNCareer’s web and mobile experiences in a full-time, on-site role based in Bihar, India. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research, translating requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and creating interactive prototypes to validate design decisions. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and content teams to refine user flows, maintain visual consistency, and ensure a seamless experience across the platform. The role also involves iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytics, contributing to design systems, and supporting front-end implementation with clear design specifications and assets.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mockups and Visual Design to create clear, attractive, and consistent interfaces.
• Experience with Prototyping to build interactive design concepts and validate user flows.
• Understanding of User Experience Design (UED) to design user-centered journeys and information architecture.
• Basic to intermediate Front-End Development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
• Ability to conduct and interpret user research, usability testing, and feedback to improve designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Relevant academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects, including responsive design and experience with education or product platforms (preferred).
