About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our dynamic team remotely for a duration of four months. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring designers to gain hands-on experience in designing web and mobile interfaces within a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-centric experiences that align with our innovative brand vision. You will work closely with our founders and development team to craft engaging user journeys, enhance platform usability, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our AI-driven jewellery platform.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in Figma and demonstrate a solid understanding of UX principles and design thinking methodologies. A keen eye for visual design, layout, and responsive design is essential. Candidates should have a portfolio showcasing relevant projects that reflect their ability to create user-friendly interfaces and innovative design solutions. Basic knowledge of UX research techniques and competitor analysis will be advantageous. Prior experience in designing e-commerce products or familiarity with AI design tools is a plus, along with an interest in fashion, luxury, jewellery, or consumer brands.

Responsibilities The intern will be responsible for designing engaging user experiences across both web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency and usability. Key responsibilities include creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts effectively. You will contribute to building and maintaining a scalable design system that supports our platform’s growth. Collaboration is vital; therefore, you will work closely with developers and founders to translate ideas into functional designs. Improving user journeys during critical touchpoints such as onboarding, discovery, customization, and checkout will be a core focus. Additionally, conducting UX research, competitor analysis, and designing dashboards, AI-driven experiences, and customer-facing interfaces will be integral to your role.
