Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize aerodynamic models, flight dynamics, and control laws for UAV platforms.
Design and implement autopilot systems, attitude control, and trajectory control algorithms.
Develop trajectory planning and navigation algorithms for autonomous flight operations.
Perform flight dynamics simulations, control system validation, and performance testing using MATLAB, Simulink, and Python.
Apply control theory, PID control, and nonlinear control techniques to improve flight stability and system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate flight control, navigation, and aerodynamic models into UAV platforms.
Required Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
Experience in UAV flight dynamics, autopilot design, and flight control system development.
Strong understanding of aerodynamics, stability analysis, control theory, and navigation algorithms.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and/or Python for modelling and simulation.
Knowledge of trajectory optimization, nonlinear control techniques, and real-time systems.
