Treasury Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Treasury Product Owner with strong knowledge of Treasury, Cash Management, Payments, and Financial Markets. The candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the product backlog, gathering business requirements, and working closely with technology and business teams to deliver treasury solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the Treasury product roadmap, vision, and strategy.

Gather and analyze requirements from Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations, and business stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Prioritize and maintain the product backlog based on business value, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, and Data teams to deliver product capabilities.

Lead product discovery, requirement workshops, and solution discussions.

Define and track product KPIs, adoption metrics, and business outcomes.

Manage product releases, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.

Support UAT, production releases, issue resolution, and post-production reviews.

Ensure treasury products comply with applicable financial controls, regulatory, security, and risk requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, and Operations.

Drive continuous improvement and automation of treasury processes.

Treasury Domain Skills

Strong understanding of Corporate/Bank Treasury functions.

Knowledge of Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Payments, FX, Money Markets, and Investments.

Understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rate Risk, Market Risk, and Liquidity Risk.

Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and financial applications.

Experience with cash forecasting, cash positioning, bank reconciliation, settlements, and payments.

Understanding of financial instruments such as FX, Bonds, Money Market, Swaps, and Derivatives is preferred.

Agile / Product Skills

Strong experience working as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.

Ability to create and prioritize Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working with distributed technology and business teams.

Ability to balance business priorities, technical dependencies, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Good to Have

Experience in banking, financial services, investment banking, or corporate treasury.

Knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, APIs, payment systems, and banking integrations.

Experience with treasury platforms such as Kyriba, FIS, Finastra, SAP Treasury, or similar.

CSPO / PSPO / PMP certification is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
