Trc Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Troubleshoot defective electronic modules to identify faults and their root causes using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Repair and refurbish electronic modules by replacing defective or worn-out components.
• Perform component-level repairs on circuit boards and BGA-level repairs on motherboards and circuit boards.
• Repair and refurbish passbook kiosk printers.
• Conduct functional testing and quality checks on repaired modules.
• Follow ESD guidelines and other repair-centre safety procedures.
• Update work orders and maintain daily repair and inventory records.
• Plan spare parts requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Provide remote technical support to field engineers through phone and email.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or BE in a relevant discipline.
• 16 years of experience; candidates with relevant hands-on electronics repair skills are preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronic components, circuit boards and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of soldering, component replacement and electronic testing is desirable.
