Transport Planner II

We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our team. This role will be based at our AtkinsR alis office in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India.

• Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor s Degree with a Master s degree in Transport Planning).
• 4+ years of experience in Transport Planning.
• Knowledge and experience of ME regional modelling guidance and approaches.
• Experience and knowledge of TIS Reviews.
• Experience and knowledge of Strategic Transport Planning work.
• Experience and knowledge of Rail Planning work.
• Experience in programming skills such as Python, Power BI, Excel VBA, and R.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, including a high degree of competence in MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project.
• Good written communication skills.

• Highly self-motivated and ambitious.
• Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and databases.
• Appreciation of the transport industry and related policy context.
• Professional membership of a relevant institution.
