The Transport Executive is responsible for managing daily transportation operations, ensuring efficient movement of employees/goods, optimizing routes, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily transport schedules.
- Ensure timely and safe transportation of employees or materials.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and route planning to minimize costs.
- Manage transport vendors and service providers.
- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance, and performance.
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Coordinate driver deployment and shift planning.
- Ensure drivers follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain records of driver attendance, licenses, and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, transport regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents/accidents and submit reports.
- Track and control transportation costs (fuel, maintenance, vendor bills).
- Validate invoices and manage budgets.
