Transition Project Management - Senior Associate

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage transition and onboarding workstreams for new AFS clients, focused on schedule, scope, quality, readiness, and effective handoff to managed services
• Develop and maintain integrated transition plans covering finance and accounting, technology implementation, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and operational readiness
• Coordinate activities, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables across client, US-based, offshore, accounting, technology, and other functional teams
• Facilitate transition governance including status meetings, milestone tracking, RAID logs, action registers, decision logs, stakeholder communications, and escalation of blockers
• Track transition progress against plan, identify schedule and readiness risks early, drive owners to resolution, and validate overall transition readiness
• Coordinate finance and accounting process transition, technology implementation, system configuration, data migration, testing, training, knowledge transfer, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
• Apply working knowledge of technology implementation lifecycles and finance and accounting processes to coordinate transition requirements and operational-readiness activities
• Coordinate across accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and related third-party applications used in managed services environments
• Partner with US transition, industry, technology, accounting, managed services leaders, and client stakeholders to align onboarding activities, resolve dependencies, and escalate risks and issues
• Support standardized transition methodologies, templates, automation and AI-enabled tools, and ensure structured handoffs to steady-state managed services with clear ownership of open items, risks, dependencies, and post-go-live actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field
• 3+ years of project management, transition, implementation, or service delivery experience
• Experience managing client transitions, onboarding, and implementation projects
• Knowledge of technology implementations, data migration, testing, and go-live activities
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and reporting
• Experience with project plans, RAID logs, status reporting, governance, and transition readiness assessments
