TRANSFORMER SERVICE ENGINEER

1. Role & Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspection of power transformers.
• Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct IR, winding resistance, TTR, and transformer oil tests.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare transformer test reports and service documentation.
• Support transformer overhauling and site service activities.
• Coordinate with customers and follow electrical safety and HSE requirements.

2. Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transformer testing.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in transformer testing procedures.
• Knowledge of transformer maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate electrical testing instruments and prepare technical reports.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and travel within Oman

3. Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: OMR 550.
