Transcription Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Transcription/QA Executive with excellent listening and referencing skills for transcripts related to a broad range of subject areas including, but not limited to business, finance, technology, etc. The project will also expose you to vast, diverse and interesting topics and accents. Typing speed should be at least 60 words per minute.

The job requires candidate to be proficient on the below aspects:

• Professional tone and demeanor
• Tech-savviness (Have to be familiar with certain transcription tools. Flair for online research)
• Flexibility and desire to learn

Key Responsibilities:

Transcribe/Quality check English Audio-Transcripts; Varied Subject Areas and Global Accents; Using Regular Transcription Tools Like Express Scribe, Word, Foot Pedal, and Online Referencing.

Types of Assignments:

Business Consultation meetings, cross subject area transcription, Business, Economics, Media, IT, Life Sciences, Engineering etc.

Work Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in any field.
• Comfortable with North American, and other global accents.
• Excellent online referencing and information verification skills.
• Min. 6-months experience in transcription, experience in business transcription will be a plus.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Client focus, on-time delivery, high quality and productivity oriented.

• Good transcription and proofreading skills.
• Excellent referencing and comprehension skills.
• Good typing speed.
• Attention to details.
• A general knowledgebase on diverse subjects.
