Job Title: Training Manager

Ahmedabad (Head Office), with flexibility to travel across regions as per business requirements

3. Reporting To

Head Learning & Development

4. Job Purpose

To design, implement, and manage structured skill and functional training programs for employees across cable TV and broadband operations. The role focuses on enhancing workforce capability, driving operational excellence, and improving customer service through effective learning interventions and digital platforms.

5. Key Responsibilities

5.1 Training Strategy & Planning

• Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) across functions
• Develop and execute the annual training plan aligned with business objectives

5.2 Onboarding & Induction

• Design and manage structured onboarding programs for new hires
• Ensure effective role-based induction across corporate and field workforce

5.3 Functional & Technical Training

• Design and deliver training programs focused on soft skills, product understanding, and process adherence to enhance overall service quality and efficiency
• Continuously update training content in line with technological and process changes

5.4 Behavioral & Soft Skills Training

• Facilitate programs on communication, customer handling, teamwork, and productivity enhancement

5.5 LMS & Digital Learning

• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) - Analyze feedback and performance metrics and Conduct assessments
• Monitor course completion, assessments, and learning analytics

6. Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of Learning & Development frameworks and methodologies
• AI-enabled Content Development Gamma, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.
• Knowledge of telecom / broadband operations (preferred)
• Proficiency in LMS and digital learning tools
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multi-location and field workforce training
• Effective stakeholder management and collaboration

7. Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering (mandatory)
• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent (mandatory)
• Certification in Learning & Development / Instructional Design (preferred)

8. Experience Required

• 910 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development / Training
• Prior experience in telecom, broadband, or service industry preferred
• Experience in field workforce training and LMS-based learning environments desirable

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel across branch locations
• Ability to handle multiple training projects simultaneously
